Dear Library Friends,

I wondered if you and your groups might be interested in any of the following opportunities offered by University of Bristol?

We've got a range of short courses, the ELCE degree programme and a festival of fiction (all flyers attached). If you would like hard copies of the leaflets to put in libraries please email Helen at elce-ptp-director@bristol.ac.uk

The Festival of Fiction is on 20-22 sept 2019, led by Bristol's English department. You can do 1 day, 2 days or all three. Pick and mix from a range of courses covering detective fiction to death and anxiety in fiction plus three great creative writing courses for beginners and more advanced writers. Funding assistance is available. Booking is now open at: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/english/study/part-time/short-courses/festival-of-fiction/

We still have a few spaces on our English Literature and Community Engagement degree to start in September 2019. No qualifications required to apply. Made for mature students - spread your studies over 6 years - all teaching done in evenings and weekends. Learn about literature while getting a qualification that employers value. The course will help you develop your written and verbal communication skills and support you in creating your own reading project in the community. Application and further information here:http://www.bristol.ac.uk/english/study/part-time/elce-course/

Best wishes
